FOUNDERS

Zertuche Insurance Agency was founded in 1985 by Diana S. Zertuche. She began her business as an appointed agent with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas with only one client. Over the years, she grew her business and eventually became a general agent for Blue Cross. In the late 90's, her husband Mario, retired from law enforcement, and joined her team at ZIA as a licensed agent as well. Those that knew Diana can attest to the tenacity and fervor she showed her clients as their insurance agent and in the passion she had for the business, that she often referred as "her baby."

Diana and Mario’s daughter, Tammy Zertuche Hyslop, continues to work and run Zertuche Insurance Agency, where she is proud to have her parent’s name and legacy live on
